The Princess and the Frog Sequel Storyboard is aimed towards young children to promote creativity and entertainment. The brief by Disney called for extensive research on competition which after doing resulted in gaining information on the audience's likes and dislikes which made it easier for me to cater towards them. Additionally, I did my own primary research on the original film to be able to incorporate the character's energy/personality and story's settings authentically within my storyboard.

This was a keyframe from the storyboard which shows Tiana happy after Mama Oodie gave her the magical pendant. She is however tied up by Mama's pet snake as she was first hesitant in receiving the gift due to it being regurgitated by the very same snake. I struggled with some of the story elements of this project as I had to stick to the original 'world' that Disney has created for this particular princess which made it quite restricting. However, after doing research and brainstorming I was able to come up with a story that was true to the original whilst still keeping it new and fresh.

Some villages in India take girls out of school once they reach a certain age. This Storyboard is to convince the local government of such villages that educating girls is beneficial to not only the girls themselves but the entire village. Approaching this brief was difficult as I was struggling with not only finding the target audience but as to how I could convince them to rethink their beliefs. I overcame this by doing a lot of research on the subject and knowing what is most important to the target audience: people's lives.
