I create distinctive branded solutions to societal and ethical issues.

Nibble brand identity

Revival kit- boxes and tags.

Revival kits are picked up by the user from their favourite thrift shop, or charity shop or ordered online. Inside the revival, the kit is a clothing tag. QR code stickers containing information regarding the garment size and measurements provided by the user are included. The stickers are placed into the outlined spaces on the tag and box. The Revival kit is then sent by the user to Revive to be tailored. These boxes are also used to return the Revived garments to the user and can be either recycled or dropped back off at the initial collection site.

Clothing tags

An up-close look at the clothing tags made from sustainable and recyclable materials. The tags are designed to communicate with the user in the casual and friendly tone of voice created through Revive’s branding.

Awards

I have been involved with two societies during my time at Loughborough University, taking on voluntary roles in both.

With LSU Tuxedo Swing, a jazz group in which I play alto saxophone, I spent two years designing society branded merchandise. This included personalised hoodies, quarter-zip jumpers and sweaters, alongside accessories including bottle-openers.
In April of 2022, the Tuxedo Swing committee and I organised a tour across Edinburgh to raise money for the charity, Anthony Nolan. I created a successful marketing campaign across our Instagram platform documenting our gigs and pushing the link to the Just Giving page. It was one of our most ambitious and successful marketing endeavours.

Adjacent to Tuxedo swing I have been on the LSU Classical committee for 3 consecutive years as a Media representative, cultivating marketing campaigns for award-winning concerts and inter-societal events. I have worked in collaboration with another student graphic designer for the last two years, building essential communication skills.

Work Experience

September 2021 - January 2022
Freelance designer at Evolo.

Evolo Visuals is a photo/video production company based in the South of England that shoots marketing and events material. I was commissioned to rebrand the company image as well as create a new retro sub-brand identity. I was given complete creative freedom and visualised the brand based on their existing projects – this was an exciting and rewarding experience.
Evolo’s directors and I are all students. We overcame scheduling difficulties using Microsoft Teams, which I am comfortable working across. I was also working to their deadline alongside my university work, improving my organisation skills.
Overall, I found that I built on my professional skills as a creative and gained a deeper understanding of how to present my ideas in the creative industry.

June 2019 - September 2019
Freelance Junior Graphic designer at P&O Cruises.

I worked on multiple projects with P&O Cruises during my Summer Placement.

I designed magnetic do not disturb & turndown door markers for a new cruise ship, these were the first of their kind and will be a continued feature on all future ships.

Additionally, I joined the team working on the 2019-2021 brochure. Using Adobe InDesign, I worked with copyrighters and formatted text across destination spreads. Based on the brochure palette, I specified which of P&O's images to include and created icons in Adobe Illustrator for new activities and features across the fleet.

Working at P&O Cruises taught me how to grow my technical skills in a creatively constrained design environment due to the detailed brand guidelines. Close collaboration with team members and other company functions taught me how to do this with others to achieve professional design objectives.
