Super Sonar - Sound Stimulated Displays
Using visual and interactive design to amplify sound, Super Sonar is a music festival that aims to unite all music lovers. A key feature of the event is the sound-stimulated displays. These screens are placed throughout the event for a more visual music experience, where the design reacts to the intensity of bass.
Super Sonar Logo
This project's logo and visual identity reflect the concept of extending sound, in order to become more inclusive for the d/Deaf and hard of hearing community. Music can be experienced through multiple senses - it can be heard, seen and felt.
Super Sonar App
Accessibility is important for an inclusive music event. The Super Sonar app is a hub of information designed to aid users in navigating around areas of the festival.
Netflix Universe
A breakdown of my idea for D&AD New Blood's Netflix brief. Netflix Universe celebrates non-English language films as a means of new discovery. Featuring a biweekly launch page of four incredible films, users are encouraged to expand their horizons.
Campaign Rollout
Reaching beyond with billboard advertisements of Netflix Universe. Using relevant stills from incredible non-English films increases the representation of universal stories while advertising the next 'launch'.
Discovery Profiles
Share your discoveries. Generated every month, Netflix Universe users can save and share their discovery profiles and send them to others.
#Report2Support
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise in anti-Asian hate crime, #Report2Support was created to bring the experiences and emotions of the East and South-East Asian communities in the UK to the surface. Increasing visibility by displaying the animation on the iconic Piccadilly Lights.
Animation Storyboard
Key frames from my #Report2Support animation, utilising bold typography and a punchy colour palette for impact.

Work Experience
For my placement year, I joined the team at Urban Outfitters Europe as a Digital Design Intern. My role involved creating visual assets for all UO digital marketing channels. I produced graphics with seasonal direction and gained additional experience in print and brand development. Being able to learn behind the scenes at a company I admired has been extremely fulfilling for my development as a designer. I've expanded my ability to tailor my design style to appeal to different consumers, broadening my skills in editorial, typography and layout.
My most notable achievement has been designing the graphics for their in-store arcade machines - which you can find in UO Oxford Street and several other stores. This was an enjoyable project where I brought my illustrative side forward to create playful stickers influenced by pop and gaming culture.
In my spare time, I volunteer as a Graphic Designer for Dear Asian Youth London (DAYLDN), which is a youth-led UK-based chapter of the international non-profit organisation Dear Asian Youth. Its mission is to empower British Asian youth and communities which is a cause I deeply resonate with.
My role consists of designing social media infographics, marketing and story posts - utilising my design and illustration skills to bring information to life. This experience has been rewarding in the sense that I have learnt more about different cultures and become more in touch with my own. Celebrating and helping to advocate for these communities has been empowering and it remains an important aspect of my life.
