An enthusiastic, experimental and positive designer who aims to make an impact through digital design.

GUI MI: The Period Brand

Introducing GUI MI, a new, progressive period brand aimed to tackle the period taboo in China. GUI MI translates to a girl’s best friend in Chinese to show how the audience can view the brand as its friend that offers them support and guidance. The brand encourages young people to talk more openly about their menstruation and educates them on menstrual health.

GUI MI: The Period Box

The period box is one of GUI MI’s core products, designed to provide young girls with the period products and knowledge they need to support them at the start of their period journey. As the user unfolds the layers within the box, they come across a period guide, pouch bag, period tracker and essential sanitary products.

GUI MI: Period Products

The period box comes with 2 types of products, pads and tampons. Each tampon or pad serves a different purpose, which is distinguished by the colours and the symbols. Each pad comes with a top tip, displayed on the back of the wrapper, giving advice for period cramps and facts about menstrual health.

Break The Ice with Walkers

We’ve all been in that sticky situation where we know someone who isn’t fine but don’t know how to get them to talk. Starting these conversations isn’t easy. Walkers will lend a hand through our campaign... Break The Ice. This is a collaborative project with Emma Lawrence for the D&AD Walkers brief.

Break The Ice with Walkers: Instagram

Supporting World Mental Health Day, our humorous campaign aims to bring people together to create a shared moment where they have fun (with crisps, of course) and open up a conversation. From balancing a crisp on your nose to a quick game of Monster Munch VS Wotsits, we wanna encourage 18-30-year-olds to get involved with our ice breakers by filming themselves, giving it a go and sharing across social media.

Work Experience

I completed my placement year at a branding and marketing agency, 3 Colours Rule. I had a diverse design role, assisting in UX/UI design, brand identity, packaging design, video and audio editing, and social media content. As my role developed, I took on more responsibilities, such as project managing client projects and completing marketing work. I was proud to work on rewarding projects for Black Women in Tech and Black Representation in Marketing for Facebook. Working for a diverse and socially-responsible company has motivated me to create more meaningful work that addresses societal issues.
