A highly creative and driven designer, I delight in exploring product innovation and emerging technologies.
Final year project
Klean Kitt - Ensuring effective disinfection of training equipment used by athletes, reducing exposure to bacteria and chances of illness.
Klean Kitt - Disinfection of kit before training
With athletes training so hard, why should they be put at threat, by the environment in which they're training?
Klean Kitt completely irradiates bacteria on surfaces by 99% providing athletes with a safer training environment, allowing them to maintain performance and have a marginal advantage over their competition.
Klean Kitt - Disinfection of bacterial hotspots
Through the use of UV-C LEDs, bacterial hotspots and wasted paper towels and spray are no longer.
Klean Kitt - Designing a safe product
As UV-C is radiation and harmful to human skin, this posed a great challenge to design around. With necessary research and testing, I have been able to produce a safety system which can harness the benefits of UV-C without the dangers of human use in environments.
Klean Kitt - Modular UV-C LED components
Klean Kitt makes use of emerging UV-C LEDs, which have been designed to be embedded in modular inserts. This makes for a more durable and effective product, as older LEDs can be swapped out when necessary.
Powerie App - Providing a seamless car-charging experience for those who don't have off-street parking
With the increased presence of electric vehicles on the road, how will those living in densely-populated areas, without off-street parking be expected to charge their cars? Wait for up to an hour at petrol stations?
Powerie empowers users to be released from the constraints posed by their electric vehicles, as they can access swappable booster batteries for their vehicles, reducing reliance on long charges.
Powerie App - A simple, easy experience for all
With an emotionally-oriented design, Powerie makes for a simple, seamless experience.
Liber - Encouraging those with stomas to live a more spontaneous life
For those living with stomas, it can be difficult to live a truly spontaneous life, as they often need access to toilets in order to be able to deal with their stoma.
Liber empowers users to live a truly free life, by providing them with everything they need.
With a UV-C light air filtration system, Liber can also store used bags, reducing the common fractions of smells or spillages which users are expected to put up with.
Liber - Own it!
Why should "medical" products feel like medical products?
Liber empowers and encourages users to look past their "imperfections" and live their life!

Work Experience
Pavegen - Design Engineer - 12 months
Using my market awareness and commercial acumen, I pioneered disruptive ways to employ the Pavegen V3
technology. I ensured my innovative approach also harnessed the client’s brand identity. Concise and powerful
communication of concepts was essential and supported by my skills in producing photo-realistic images, I consistently captivated the client’s imagination. I developed expertise in communicating complex ideas effectively.
Generating concepts to such a high standard required utilising various software simultaneously. From Adobe
CC applications to SolidWorks, I thought critically about how I could use each in a novel way. With installations
being bespoke to the user, task and environment, this enhanced my ability to learn software and apply
new techniques quickly.
Liaising regularly with external technical teams, suppliers and distributors I ensured disruptive yet realistic concepts
could be produced in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner. One of my key achievements was leading
an R&D study to assess and redesign the processes surrounding temporary installations abroad. My study
revolutionised the standard practice for the company, saving both money and labour.
Conducting materials research enhanced Pavegen’s understanding of its technology’s resilience in extreme environments through improved material resistance. These materials can now be seen in Pavegen installations
in the Middle East, proving my capability to identify, understand and integrate findings into the manufacturing
process.
Pavegen - Freelance Industrial Designer - 1 month
Negotiating a 5-week extension, I continued to add value by developing ongoing projects in preparation for
manufacture. This included an installation for Siemens in Munich, which had an engagement with over 1100+ people
over a two-day period. I balanced this alongside onboarding both a junior and senior designer to the team,
further developing my interpersonal and leadership skills.
Alan Spargo Ltd. - CAD intern - 3 weeks
A three-week placement learning the intricacies of how CAD/ CAM systems are used throughout the production
cycle for precision press tools. Acquiring skills in AutoCAD and knowledge of 2D/ 3D inspection equipment for
quality control.
