An ambitious concept-led designer and creative thinker

Ten to Zen

Turns out the commute provided many psychological benefits. The lack of separation is negatively impacting the well-being of remote workers. The question is, can we replace it.....?
At the intersection of well-being and productivity, Ten to Zen is an app which harnesses mindfulness to deliver a functional daily ritual to replace the commute, marking the beginning and end of each workday.

Ten to Zen: UX screens

As the name suggests, Ten to Zen is an app that offers simple, concise and tailored meditation sessions based on your moods and feelings. Planning for the day ahead with to-do lists and gratitude and ending the end with reflections and final mind dumps help the user effectively and mindfully switch on and off for the day. Designed to be implemented as a daily habit performed twice a day, filling the void of the structure which was provided by the commute. Need to take a quick breather during the day? Ten to Zen is there if you feel you need to take some time out, simply tap the switch, silence work notifications for 10 and zone out.

Ten to Zen: Sync with Apple Watch

Sometimes recognising stress in yourself is difficult, but the health app on your apple watch can.
When you are stressed, your body releases adrenaline, which causes your heart rate to speed up. Apple Watch wearers that sync their health app to Ten to Zen will get automatic reminders when their stress levels increase for a sustained period of time. This is a beneficial feature for users where high-stress levels are a serious or persistent issue.

Work Experience

Creative Support within the Marketing team at SilverDoor Apartments (2020-2021)

At the centre of SilverDoor's creative hub, the Marketing Team, I enjoyed my diverse role as Creative Support. I created visual content to capture and promote the company’s visions and identity through all channels of communication: social media, email marketing, award submissions and the website. I learnt how to work efficiently within the team and independently, interchanging between briefs and taking ownership of projects producing a range of professional and contemporary designs.

Work Experience at Dark Horses Creative Agency (2022)

The week course at Dark Horses Creative Agency was truly exciting for me, as the agency combines sport and creativity, my two biggest passions. Here I learnt about the creative advertising industry by engaging with each department at Dark Horses – sparking a real interest in the creative team. This experience opened my eyes to the exciting roles and opportunities the industry has to offer.
