Final year project
specto | Improving Task Efficiency for Users with Visual Impairment
Specto Lamp
Specto is my final year project on designing a versatile and portable multi-task lamp. The project tackles the lack of equipment optimising task efficiency for users with visual impairment. With its colour-changing settings and collapsible design, the product provides the user with the tools to create the perfect work environment to work efficiently anytime, anywhere.
Dichi Indoor Air Quality Monitor
Dichi is an indoor air quality monitor designed for Design Week 2022. With the pandemic pushing people back inside, the increased level of human activity at home has deteriorated indoor air quality. The project aims to raise awareness of the dangers of low air quality through an intuitively simple monitoring device.
Uvagrano Gin
Uvagrano Gin was a personal project completed over lockdown as a submission for the Student BrandOpus Awards. As a sustainable upscale spirit brand, it introduced the concept of using the pandemic's wasted beer as a viable source for distilling quality gin.
Remnant Sneakers
Remnant Sneakers are a sustainable design proposal tackling the stigma of fashion waste as a viable resource. Made from leather waste and recycled plastic, the sneakers are designed to be comfortable, unique and fit for all-purpose.
Kenwood Blender Station
This project was a submission for Design Week 2019, focusing on innovating Kenwood's appliances. The proposal consisted of a processing station with blade and cutting board storage, designed to encourage users to indulge in their cooking.

Work Experience
In my final year, I joined The Creative Exchange as their new Media and Marketing Lead. Part of Loughborough's Student Union, The Creative Exchange focused on boosting university students' professional skills and entrepreneurship through interdisciplinary workshops. My responsibilities included increasing student engagement through designing and managing social media content. Since joining the Creative Exchange, my contribution led to a 70% increase in followers.
During my placement year, I joined the Visualisation Team at the Hong Kong-based non-governmental organisation Earth.org as a Data Visualisation and Infographics Intern. While working remotely, I was in charge of producing high-quality visuals for social media in raising awareness of current environmental issues.
