Work Experience

Embroidery and Embellishment Intern at Suzie Turner
The internship consisted of a high level of training in embroidery and embellishment for couture fashion pieces. The experience gave me the opportunity to explore and create embroidery designs and embellishments in a fashion studio environment. I gained further insight into the business operations being involved in the role of studio manager and participating in client meetings as well as photoshoots.

Wedding and Event Coordinator at Silverbirch Hotel
The roles consisted of event space setup and administrative work around weddings and other large events held by the hotel. The experience involved a lot of problem-solving and intuitive thinking to tackle all obstacles that came up before and during the events. I also participated in photographing event spaces and client discussions.

Small Business: Sarah Elizabeth
Over the lockdown period, I created and set up an online Etsy store creating macramé decor and tableware for the home. This experience allowed me to create a brand identity and elevate my macramé technique by exploring new designs to create for products.
