A Reusable Blood Pregnancy and Fertility Test for Women with Fertility Issues
OVA - Pregnancy and Fertility Testing Device
OVA is a reusable pregnancy and fertility test targeted toward women with fertility issues. Unlike a traditional pregnancy, OVA uses a blood sample instead of urine and works similarly to a blood glucose monitor, allowing the user the flexibility to test any time of day with increased accuracy and the chance of false positives minimised. A key feature is that the testing device is reusable and helps to reduce the waste caused by single-use pregnancy tests.
OVA - Early Stage App Prototype
The OVA app allows the user to track their results, and view their ovulation prediction and fertile window. The use of the app, with embedded AI, can help the user know when to test for pregnancy and ovulation to help prevent waste and take the hassle out of daily testing.
Airbnb Bloom - UX Project
As part of a module in UX, I designed Airbnb Bloom, a sustainable, community-focused Airbnb app extension. The concept allows eco-conscious users to view an exclusive list of properties based on their green score. During their stay, individuals will have an energy usage cap. Providing they do not exceed the cap, they earn points on their green score. Any underspend on their energy usage gets converted into credits, which can be spent on ways to better the community. By engaging in community tasks and earning credits, the user will gain rewards on the app.
SIDNEY - A Cot Death Prevention Device
Currently, there is no known reason for sudden infant death syndrome (cot death). SIDNEY aims to reduce stress for new parents by monitoring their child's heart rate with an electromagnetic sensor, as well as using a camera to monitor the child's position to a suitable position. A linked app constantly alerts the parents to the child's position and any potential concerns or calls 999 straight away if the child's vital signs are dropping.
SIDNEY - Form Development
To develop the form of SIDNEY, rapid ideation, foam modelling, and quick digital renders were used to gain form inspiration and test potential concepts.
Insolar - A Retrofittable Adaptive Facade
Two of the main challenges when reducing energy usage in the home are heat loss through windows and the need for cooling devices such as fans and air conditioning. Insolar aims to address this by allowing users to easily adjust the insulation, ventilation, and light levels in their home, sustaining a comfortable living environment without the use of energy-intense heating and cooling.
Insolar - How it Works
The retrofittable adaptive facade can be changed between three different modes; ventilation, where the slats are spaced apart to allow airflow and natural lighting, insulation, where the slats are closed together to retain heat, and shading, where the slats are closed but raised to allow airflow whilst sheltering from the sun.
Bean - An Electromechanical Coffee Machine Project
A collaborative project with the intention of utilising manufacturing skills, knowledge of embedded systems, and mechanical analysis to produce a fully functioning coffee machine designed around an Aeropress.

Work Experience
I have completed a 12 month of Product Design placement at JELD-WEN UK during which I had a leading role in the consumer insight program. This allowed me to gain key skills in communication, teamwork, CAD (including Solidworks), and in-depth knowledge of concept creation and validation.
