I am a multimedia textile designer. My main inspiration comes from the natural world which I use to create exquisite, delicate and intricate textiles. I design for the luxury industry specialising in bespoke handcrafted lace knitwear, hand embroidered and embellished pieces.

The Empress
Three-layered intricate laser cut design of varying scales, cut from silk duchess sovereign, silk satin and silk georgette to emulate a lace structure. The structure was developed from linear marks taken from cyanotype prints of natural elements as well as a digital print created from layering different cyanotype prints.
The High Priestess
Hand manipulated knitted lace fabric made up of viscose, silk, and cotton yarns. Alternate thicknesses of yarn alongside different transfer techniques were used to create a varied and interesting pattern design.
The World
Hand embroidered design using embroidery techniques such as couching, chain stitch, and satin stitch, adorned on top of a digitally printed silk georgette. The motif was derived from visual research of Art Nouveau architecture in London.
The Hermit
Digitally printed silk-georgette layered with a laser-cut polyester technical fabric in a fluid lace-like structure. The digital print was derived from layering up different cyanotype prints and a linear drawing design transferred to the polyester through a sublimation print.
The Hierophant
Hand manipulated knitted lace fabric made up of viscose, silk, and monofilament yarns. Alternate thicknesses of yarn alongside different transfer techniques were used to create a varied and interesting pattern design.
The Star
A silk georgette digitally printed design, created from layering cyanotype prints of natural elements and adjusting the colour.
Visual Development
Paper design development using a laser-cut motif adorned to a digital design, experimenting with different colour ways and layering.
