Una - Contraception for Couples
1 in 3 pregnancies in the UK are unplanned, but who is held responsible? It takes two to get pregnant, so shouldn't it take two to prevent it? 50 years since the contraceptive pill was first introduced, birth control has been focused on women. Women are currently disproportionally tasked with the physical, financial and emotional obligations of contraception. The current gender divide in contraception needs to be addressed.
Una: Subscription Box
Una is a postal subscription service aimed at couples aged between 18-25 across the UK. Individuals can sign up for this service, either online or at the GP for a small charge. They will receive their normal prescription of the pill, along with a diversity of recourses, including information on contraception, symptom trackers, communication cards and FAQs.
Una: App
They will also receive free access to an exclusive app. Connect with your partner and share the responsibility of taking the pill each day. Partners can send their other half reminders to take the pill, order new prescriptions, manage side effects, and much more! Because We is the new Me.
The Horizon Project - Digital Campaign
93% of adults in the UK with learning disabilities are unemployed. We want to change that. The Horizon Project aims to challenge misconceptions about the ability of those with a learning disability to work. We want to highlight the benefits of an inclusive workplace through the stories and experiences of companies, employers, and employees who together, made a difference.
Una: OOH Advertising
My printed posters aim to stay away from the discreet conversation around contraception. Loud, proud and empowering tackles the issue of women feeling isolated by the responsibility of birth control. The bold slogans and imagery gain the attention of both a male and female audience.
The Horizon Project: Website
The Horizon Project connects employers across Birmingham with employees who have a learning disability, harnessing a digital campaign and website to spread its mission. People who have a learning disability want to work for the same reasons as anyone else. But many face barriers and prejudices, lack of opportunities and low expectations, which prevent them from being valuable employees.
D&AD giffgaff: Social Media
People up and down the country will be able to step into the #giffgaffchatterboxes and send a video message to a loved one of their choice. By sending a message, our message on phone recycling will be spread beyond the Chatterboxes. Those receiving these special videos will also be shown how they can recycle their old phones with giffgaff. The cycle of joy and sustainability continues!
D&AD giffgaff: Contextual Images
We have refurbished several of Britain’s old phone boxes to become The ChatterBoxes! These new spaces provide a fun and unique way for communities across the country to send video messages to others, all powered by giffgaff. By returning these icons back to their original purpose, we are giving people a place to connect, communicate and maintain relationships with loved ones. Not only this but those involved with The Chatterbox campaign are given the knowledge and tools to also refurbish and repurpose their old phones. Through giffgaff we can continue to give back to those we love and the planet.
