Specialising in printed textiles, my work explores the natural world through detailed hand-drawn imagery, developed both digitally and in the print room to create a series of surface pattern designs suitable for interior application.

Digital Print

This digitally developed print is inspired by the tropical climate of the Amazon Rainforest where it rains daily. From my own photography combined with silhouette drawings of carefully observed Amazonian insects and reptiles, this print offers a contrast to the detailed hand-drawn aspect of my other designs.

Cyanotype Experiments

Throughout my project, I have experimented with cyanotypes and developed them digitally to add depth to my designs.

Work Experience

Bay and Brown
During my placement year, I interned with Bay and Brown, a design studio in London. Over the course of my internship, I was able to develop my drawing and painting skills with new styles and approaches and mediums.
As a member of the design team, I created delicate motifs for repeat patterns, sourced imagery for inspiration and
developed a careful consideration for composition.
