Ellie
This image shows embroidered fabrics. The pattern is abstracted from individual fingerprints, highlighting the authenticity of the works and depicting how each fingerprint is different.

This image shows the development towards a final outcome based on the dialogue I shared with Phoebe.
Challenges I have faced include the time extensive nature of the beading process however the project has been thoroughly rewarding.

This image shows a plan for my larger pieces of work, exploring colour and pattern on a smaller scale. The patchwork represents Phoebe’s chosen colour palette based on her preference after a conversation about her personal opinions regarding clothing. The beads portray a link to one of Phoebe’s favourite hobbies - producing her own beaded jewellery.

In my spare time, I produce commissioned artwork at the request of the client. These pieces all follow the same marbled aesthetic in order to create a bespoke piece specific to the client, each piece is based on an interior shot.

Work Experience
Freelance Artwork 2020 - Present
During the global pandemic, I created a start-up business where I produced bespoke artwork made for a particular customer or user. I showcased my work on social media in order to gain followers who would later become customers. I took the initiative to utilise my spare time as a way of creating pieces for people to enjoy as well as earning an income.
