OH!
Problem: Alcohol is now built into student culture and it is a dangerous aspect with many young people consuming it far too often that they feel reliant on it in order to have a good time. They may think that any damage to their health caused by drinking lies so far in the future that it’s not worth worrying about.
Insight: First-hand consumer research showed that it is important for the brand to maintain a sense of approachability and positivity to ensure the target consumer doesn’t feel lectured about changing their behaviour, and to break down the stigma that being sober is boring.
Solution: A non-alcoholic healthy alternative for the young, social and sober curious mind, challenging the normalisation of regular alcohol consumption in young people. OH! focuses on the positives of healthier choices rather than making consumers feel guilty about their current drinking habits. With the brand’s tactic to withhold the information that it contains zero alcohol until after the launch event, it aims to prove to consumers that they can still enjoy themselves without needing alcohol.
OH! - Drinks Packaging
Fun and vibrant packaging design to reflect the personality of the brand.
OH! - Social Media Campaign
#whatsyourmOH!ment
A playful social media campaign that kickstarts after the launch event. It aims to engage from the get-go by encouraging consumers to get friends to try the drinks, and share their reactions (OH! moments) on social media once they find out it's non-alcoholic.
Listen Up!
With the rise in misogynistic lyrics across all music genres, listeners are becoming desensitised to the harmful and objectifying messages that songs project. Men are taught to treat women with sexual aggression and women are taught to accept that they should be treated with violence. Listen Up! is a grassroots activism campaign fighting against misogynistic music lyrics.
Listen Up! - Campaign Video
The campaign video acts as the core deliverable of the project, outlining the issue of gender-based violence in music lyrics and introducing Listen Up! with a plan of action to raise awareness and bring about positive change through an OOH and digital campaign.
The Invisible Army
The Invisible Army is an illustrative campaign that aims to generate awareness and donations for ex-service members who have become homeless. After years spent in such a regimented lifestyle where day-to-day tasks are already taken care of, veterans face difficulties adapting to normal life with many spiralling into a life of debt, depression and dependency.
The Invisible Army - Illustrative Mural
The murals are placed in locations which interrupt bystanders in their daily routine, facing them with the harsh reality of homelessness which is often ignored.
