Final year project
VIA - Exploring ways to improve experience for blind and visually impaired fans at live sport
Skära - the energy app for shared-households
Skära is an app designed to better manage shared-household members’ personal electricity usage. With Skära, individuals only pay for what they use, not what their housemates consume.
Skära - transparency
Skära aims to encourage more mindful energy usage through transparency, whilst alleviating tensions caused by shared bills. Users can integrate their devices and see live breakdowns of energy usage. Skära then processes this data to give personalised suggestions for areas of potential reduction.
Skära - fairness
Users are able to send and receive trade offers within the app, giving value to non-monetary contributions to their house. This aims to level the playing field between the imbalance of time and financial wealth.
VIA - Visually Impaired Assistant
VIA is a handheld device designed to reconnect Blind and Visually Impaired sports fans with the games they love. VIA tracks the path of play with a raised surface underneath a fabric display, allowing blind and visually impaired users to feel the action unfold. This product is to be handed out by venues for use alongside audio descriptive commentary.
VIA - modular
The device can be disassembled without the need for tools, allowing for easy cleaning between uses.

Work Experience
I have just finished a year-long placement as a Design Intern within IBM iX. I was able to explore the spectrum of digital design, working as a consultant for a number of globally recognised brands. I found my niche in the role of User Interface design. I excelled in producing brand design systems and consumer-facing digital experiences, whilst upholding the strictest standards of web accessibility standards.
