As a well-rounded, curious designer I aim to create meaningful projects that tackle social issues and start important conversations.

We Foster
We Foster
We Foster is a social campaign with a clear mission to end the foster care crisis in the UK. It uses a modern, digital platform to educate a younger audience (25-40-year-olds) that fostering can be a rewarding path for people from any age or background. It aims to break the stereotypes of what it means to be a foster carer and help people realise it can be a rewarding path for them.
Sharing real, unfiltered stories from those select young people who do already foster will increase interest from my audience who may have had a previously narrow view of what it meant to become a foster carer at a younger age. We Foster is setting out to change this perception, highlighting that anyone has the potential to positively change the future of a young person.
Campaign Phase 1 - Social Media
The campaign is activated across social media during Foster Care Fortnight, sharing unique stories which will inspire my audience, and get them talking. Millennials will share their personal experiences, prompting others to ask what their story could be if they chose to get involved. This call to action directs the audience to phase 2 of the campaign to learn more.
Campaign Phase 2 - Website
We Foster will continue across the campaign website, with site visitors being able to read further stories and learn more about the fostering process in a welcoming digital space. There is also a section of the website where potential carers can ask questions which will be answered by the current young foster carers who have been in their shoes, starting a community of like-minded people.
Motherglow Logo
Motherglow is a mental health support app for mums during the postnatal period, which can often be a lonely and overwhelming time. It provides mums with the virtual companion they need to look after their own well-being when it is easy to completely lose focus on this at such a stressful time.
Day Screen
The app is tailored to its user's routine, with a day and night mode that offers varied and personalised content. It is able to offer tailored support whether mums have a brief 10 minutes to themselves during the day or are awake for a while on the 2 am night feed.
Night Screen
Motherglow has a forum feature available to all mums within the community. The feed is active 24 hours a day but can be most beneficial at night when mums are feeling lonely on the 2 am night feed. They are able to post, chat and interact with other mums in real-time.
Onboarding Screens
Onboarding screens introduce users to the Motherglow community and provide a brief overview of what the app can offer them. The screens aim to show mums how they can benefit from using the app and welcome them to this safe space.
D&AD - giffgaff 'The ChatterBoxes'
The ChatterBoxes fill two needs with one deed. The campaign encourages Britain to connect with their loved ones whilst spreading the message that recycling their old phones is easy peasy with giffgaff. The OOH campaign gives new life to Britain’s iconic phone boxes, modernising them as a place that can be used to send fun, loving and meaningful video messages to someone dear.

Work Experience
Graphic Design Intern - Absolute (September 2020 – July 2021)
I learned a lot during my placement year working at the award-winning Cornish Graphic Design Agency, Absolute. I worked alongside a tight-knit creative team as a design intern, contributing to a wide range of branding projects for clients in sectors such as hospitality, retail and property. My time on placement built my confidence as a designer and allowed me to expand my experience of working as part of a busy agency. I was able to develop my design skills as a multidisciplinary creative, which has helped me approach my final year with a professional mindset.
