Unify App - How can we best prepare students before they go to a protest?
Unify App | How can we best prepare students before they go to a protest?
The Unify App is designed for students who are going to protests for the first time. Unify aims to streamline the processes of creating, joining, and supporting protests and the causes behind them. It does this by simplifying the process of creating a protest by integrating everything a student would want to know into one place.
Swaps | Buy, swap and sell sneakers sustainably
Swaps are a sustainable sneaker app that aims to reduce the number of sneakers that end up in landfills every year, with 22 billion pairs of shoes going into landfills this year – 149 million of them in the UK. The way Swaps does this is by using Design for Behaviour Change methods to encourage users to be more confident in buying used sneakers as well as being more conscious of sustainability in their everyday life.
The app combines sustainable education with a selling platform that helps users get rid of their old shoes instead of throwing them away. The app’s grading system assesses each shoe that is sold on the platform so that customers can buy with confidence as every detail about the condition of the shoe can be clearly seen. This then helps gain the trust of the users to encourage these sustainable behaviour changes over time.

Work Experience
During the summer of 2021, I spent 10 weeks as a summer analyst in the UX team at Goldman Sachs working on some of their internal design projects.
Digital Influx is an EdTech start-up based in London that offers kids courses to learn UX principles and practices online. During my time with them, I aided in gathering user research to gain insights into what kids are looking for in terms of game and course UI. I also worked on the redesign of their website using Figma to be able to collaborate with other UX designers in the team, in preparation for the launch of their redesigned courses.
My first design role experience was as a graphic designer for the Loughborough Student's Futsal Club. This role included creating and publishing posters and promotional pieces for the team, along with meeting specific brand guidelines set by the University and the FA National Futsal Series. It has allowed me to gain skills such as meeting specific deadlines set by the chairman of the club, along with helping me develop my own unique style which I can then implement across all the work I do for the club, which created a uniform brand for the club. After seeing the work I completed for the
Loughborough Students Futsal Club their sponsor the IFA recruited me to perform similar tasks for them to boost their online presence and stand out to attract new members to their programmes.
