Maritime Sentience No. 1 - 4
Maritime Sentience No. 1 – 4 are a series of handwoven art installation pieces. Each woven panel is 50 cm x 150 cm and features subtle textured accents complimented with the hand-crafted organic pile that interlinks the panelled series. Hand-dyed Merino wool depicts a conceptual experience of blurred escape, whilst subtle undulating weft textures provide a perfect backdrop to the fluid pile. These artworks aspire to reflect the personal distorted perception of my visual impairment.
