A personal contemporary print collection aimed for garden-wear looking at my 100 year old game keepers' cottage in Fenwick, Doncaster, bringing back to life the quaint small holding and gardens that has been passed down the family for generations.

'The Container'

Procion and pigment print on shirting cotton donated from Standfast and Barracks, patchwork into my grandfather's old shirt.
This print looks at the texture and line from the shipping container stored in our back garden, printed and overlayed and then sewn into an old shirt as overscaled pockets that could be useful for storing seeds and small gardening equipment you would carry around the garden.

'Recycle and reuse'

Lino print and patchwork with recycled denim jeans.
This patchwork depicts the compost bins, using recycled jeans and their functional features to patchwork together a print and multimedia piece that emphasises the need to find new purposes for old things.

'Abstracted Utility'

Digital print on Dorchester Linen styled and visualised as an apron pocket feature.
The imagery for this print was inspired by the plant pots and odd materials stacked around the garden.

Time for rotavating!

'Into the Undergrowth'

Digital print on Pima Lawn cotton hung from the orchard ladders.
Floral repeat print digitally printed in three colourways, looking at the various flora and fauna found in the overgrown gardens.
