I would describe myself as an innovative, determined designer with a keen eye for detail. I love bringing ideas to reality.

Sanitas- 3-Lead ECG Compression Vest with GPS Tracking for Athletes
Sanitas - A 3-Lead ECG Compression Vest with GPS Tracking
Sudden cardiac arrest is the most common medical cause of sudden death in athletes. In many cases, the heart condition was unknown to the athlete. By using conductive fabric and thread stitched into the compression vest, Sanitas offers the user constant, non-invasive monitoring of their heart as well as tracking their GPS stats to help with development, calorie depletion and diet.
Performance Tracker Exploded View
The performance tracker sits in the pocket on the back of the vest and plugs into the conductive thread using a 3.5mm jack. The circuit board included the ECG processor and GPS tracker chip. The operating button turns the tracker on and off when held for 5 seconds. The Bluetooth connectivity is activated by holding the button down for 2 seconds.
Performance App
The connected App allows the athletes as well as their coaches to keep track of all the heart and GPS data that the vest records. The heart data will summarise the ECG reading into average heart rate reading with further analysis of the data available on the app. If the data is at all worrying it can be exported to a clinician. The GPS data will help the athlete keep track of their development during training and matches. The app will also calculate calorie depletion to aid with the athlete's diet and lifestyle.
Sustainable Sneaker Project
This project was part of my sustainable design module. I was challenged to design a better, more sustainable solution to the everyday sneaker. I chose to create a modular shoe design which has a steel toe add-on. The idea of the shoe was to combine the everyday sneaker and a pair of safety boots into one. Thus, reducing the number of pairs of shoes bought and materials used. The solution is made from fully recycled and recyclable materials.
Breakdown of Shoe Components
The shoe can break down into various pieces at the end of its life to allow the user to recycle the parts properly. This will allow the parts to re-enter the manufacturing process if the material is still usable. Creating a solution that follows a circular economy was the main focus of this project.
AirBnb Hub
A week-long live project, which looked at optimising the communication between the host and their guests. Airbnb Hub is a smart hub that the guest would interact with to learn about the amenities of the house, its location and how they work. The guest can also find information about the local area, and the rules of the house and as a last resort, they can contact the host. If the guest speaks a different language then the hub can also change the language to cater to their needs.
Inverto - Aeropress Coffee Machine
This project was part of my Mechanics and Electronics module. My brief was to create a fully automated coffee machine with as little user interaction as possible. This project combined all of my mechanics and electronic knowledge into one. The electronic components were programmed using a PICKit3 Programmer and then fitted into the body of the machine that was manufactured in the design school. A working video of the coffee machine can be seen on my YouTube.

Awards
I recently received a Diploma in Professional Studies as part of my placement year in Sweden. I received a Gold award after my A-level studies for Creativity in Engineering, Science, and Technology.
Aside from Design, as part of my gap year, I spent 12 months teaching English in rural Nepal for which I got a Level 3 Diploma in International Volunteering. I also achieved Grade 8 Distinction in the Saxophone
Work Experience
Exxentric AB / R&D Intern, Stockholm, 2021
Internship working for a flywheel strength training company. I was part of the R&D team at Exxentric AB based in Stockholm for 7 months. I got the opportunity to work alongside the e-commerce, marketing, sales, and fabrication teams.
My everyday tasks included CAD design, prototyping & manufacturing of the products, liaising with suppliers, designing the product manuals on Adobe Suite, and creating educational videos for internal use.
Andor Technology Ltd / Student Intern, Belfast, 2018
Software & Programming experience shadowing one of the senior programmers. I took part in various CAD design activities as well as very basic programming exercises. I got the opportunity to spend time with the manufacturing team on their shop floor learning how to assemble one of their high-performance light measuring solutions.
The Waterside Inn, Roux Ltd / Waiter, Bray-on-Thames, 2020-21
I spent 8 months working in a 3 Michelin Star restaurant in England. During my time at the restaurant, I worked in a
range of jobs including a restaurant porter working on the pass, a commis waiter in the dining room serving the guests and front of house staff on the terrace serving drinks.
